The Crate Washing Machine is an industrial-grade cleaning system designed for food processing facilities requiring efficient, hygienic cleaning of turnover containers. Built entirely from SUS304 food-grade stainless steel, it integrates multi-stage washing, high-temperature sterilization, and optional air drying into a single continuous automated process.
Two models are available to match different throughput requirements:
· HE-3600 — 3-stage cleaning (Pre-wash → Main-wash → Washing), processing 300–600 crates per hour
· HE-4800 — 4-stage cleaning (Pre-wash → Main-wash → Rinsing → Washing), processing 600–1,000 crates per hour
Both models handle plastic baskets, crates, trays, boxes, pallets, and egg trays — suitable for meat, poultry, seafood, vegetable, and prepared food processing operations.

Crates loaded onto dual-track chain conveyor
↓
Stage 1: Pre-wash
High-flow water softens and loosens surface residue
↓
Stage 2: Main-wash
High-pressure spray detaches stubborn stains and organic buildup
↓
Stage 3: Rinsing (HE-4800 only)
Circulating clean water flushes remaining detergent residue
↓
Stage 4: Clean Water Wash
Fresh water performs final thorough rinse — zero residue

What is the difference between HE-3600 and HE-4800?
The HE-3600 uses a 3-stage process with 2 water tanks, suitable for medium-volume operations at 300–600 crates/h. The HE-4800 adds a dedicated rinsing stage (4 stages, 3 tanks) for higher throughput (600–1,000 crates/h) and improved cleanliness. Model selection depends on daily crate volume and cleanliness requirements.
What types of containers can the machine clean?
Plastic baskets, crates, trays, boxes, pallets, waste bins, and egg trays. Adjustable side rails accommodate different container widths up to 650 mm.
Should I choose PLC control or button control?
The PLC touchscreen is recommended for larger facilities needing programmable cycles, automated monitoring, and data logging. The button control panel is cost-effective for smaller operations with straightforward requirements. Both display real-time water temperature and status.
Is the air drying function standard?
No — it is an optional add-on. Recommended when crates need to be reused immediately after washing without manual drying.
How is water temperature controlled?
Float devices and temperature probes connected to solenoid valves automatically mix cold and hot water (steam heated) to maintain set temperatures (82°C or 95°C), minimizing energy consumption while ensuring consistent sterilization.
Can the machine be customized?
Yes. Dimensions, cleaning stages, pump configurations, water tank capacity, drying section length, electrical voltage, and control system can all be customized. Share your facility layout and throughput requirements for a tailored recommendation.
