A Day Away from the Workshop

The whole Henger team recently stepped away from the workshop for a day at a hot spring retreat - a chance to rest, eat well and spend time together outside work.

Work at a factory is measured in deadlines and delivery dates. A day like this is the other half of the equation.

The Team Photo

The day started the way these days should: with everyone in one frame. The group photo is the record that matters most - the people who design, weld, wire and test the equipment, standing together instead of at their stations.

Afterwards, our leadership kept it short: thank you for the work, take the day properly off, and come back rested. It was received exactly as intended.

Cards, Books and a Long Table

Some of the team settled into card games; others found a quiet corner with a book. There is no programme on a day like this - the point is that everyone relaxes in their own way, and the hot springs did most of the work.

The day ended around a long table. Good food, unhurried conversation, and the kind of talk that never quite fits into a workday.
